The Monday Morning Message (9/11/17)

September 11, 2017

Every Monday morning, we'll be bringing you news about the happenings here at Open Door Media Group. "The Monday Morning Message" will have updates about photo shoots, new co-ops, video shoots, and other productions that we are working on.

Due to issues with out editing computer, our video content have hit a major stall. All videos we announced last week will be coming out over the next week with announcements regarding their release coming on our Facebook page.

Photos from recent shows and events will be coming out this week. We have photos from the Cubby Bear show filmed on the first weekend of September

that will be released to our Facebook and photos from July 29th's minor league game between the Kane County Cougars and the Quad Cities River Bandits.

Last week, producer Anthony Matozzi was set to photograph the Oswego High School football team, but will instead be photographing the team this Friday. The Panthers will be heading out to Plainfield where they will play their conference rival Plainfield East as Oswego looks to improved on their 3-2 record.

Matozzi will also meet this week with OHS athletic director Darren Howard to discuss filming interviews with some OHS' most accomplished coaches. The videos will be filmed in an attempt to capture and record the long history of sports traditions and athletic accomplishments at Oswego High School.

Our Featured Artist Friday blog continued last week as new ODMG contributor Chaon Denlinger sat down with Virgilio Gamero to talk about Elgin based rock band, The Smoking Revolvers. Other artists that have been covered in the series are Chasing Chimera, Anumi, and Sad Jokes. This week our Feautred Artist Friday series will cover Chicago band Roger This. These articles and more can all be found in the blog section of our website.

We'd also like to take time this morning to thank all of our men and women serving in first responder units across the nation. On September 11th of 2001, our nation suffered an attack the cost more than 2,000 lives and, if not for the valiant efforts of New York's first responders, the number of lives lost on that day could have been higher. Thank you to all of the firefighters, police officers, EMT's, and all first responders who make our lives safer.

Be sure to subscribe to the ODMG YouTube channel for all of our latest videos. Also, like and follow both our Instagram and Facebook pages for more pictures and ODMG announcements.
